Multan Sultans Players are making their ways to achieve some outstanding goal in the recent past. Now, Kieron Pollard has reached a milestone in the world of T20 cricket. He has completed his 400 T20 matches on his list a T20 career. The most by an international player. Pollard achieved that mark on Monday, by playing for the Adelaide Strikers in the Australian Big Bash League up against Melbourne Renegades. This number includes the matches played by him for his national side, a long list of franchises and Trinidad and Tobago. Kieron is just ahead of the player with the second most number of T20 matches. Pollard is currently the part of the Multan Sultans franchise in the Pakistan Super League 2018. The third edition of PSL will take its place from 22nd January.
The destructive Windies lower-order batsman played in a number of T20 leagues all over the world. He plays in Pakistan Super League, Bangladesh Premier League, the NatWest T20 blast, his home country’s Carribean Premier League, the CSA T20 challenge etc. He plays for a number of franchise teams all around the World. His major teams involve West Indies, Multan Sultans, Karachi Kings, Mumbai Indians, Adelaide Strikers, Dhaka Dynamites, South Australia and Trinidad & Tobago etc.
Kieron Pollard T20 Career:
Pollard made his T20 debut on July 26, 2006. It was the Cayman Islands vs Trinidad & Tobago. Thereafter he was selected for his national side in 2008. He made his T20I debut on 20 June 2008 against Australia. His destructive batting skills earned him a good repute in the world of cricket. He is a full flowing batsman down the order. He can produce some quickfire runs at minimum deliveries.
Apart from the batting abilities Pollard has got some serious potential with the ball. He is a handy bowler in the limited overs fixtures. He can produce some lovely spells in the depth. His bowling skills add some lovely icing on his career’s cake.
Pollard played for Karachi Kings in PSL 2017. he had a good experience in Pakistan Super League last season. Who can forget his blinder innings against the Lahore Qalandars? His brilliant knock of 45 runs off just 20 deliveries helped Karachi Kings surviving the tournament. Now, he is the part Multan Sultans franchise for PSL 2018. He is excited to play for Multan Sultans.
