PSL Predictions 2018 – PSL3 trophy just sliding down from Peshawar
Only 3 wins in the last 8 matches, Multan Sultans' one and Karachi Kings's two defeats will be required to Zalmi to qualify fo the next round
PSL Predictions 2018 – The defending champs are on the verge of losing their title in Pakistan Super League 2018. Peshawar Zalmi participating in the 8 matches of PSL3 could win only 3. Now, the only thing that can make them successful defending their title is their most wins in their remaining two games, even, that would not be enough either as they stand number 5th on the PSL3 points table. Multan Sultans’s defeat against Islamabad United on Tuesday fixture and Karachi King’s defeat in their next two matches will be the key for them to qualify for the playoffs.
Multan Sultans on the other hand on beating Islamabad United (in the 25th match) are impatient to make their ways through to the next phase of the HBL Pakistan Super League. Karachi Kings as well need only one win out of their two remaining matches.
Watson leads the highest runs scorer’s crew in PSL3 with 299 runs
Furthermore, due to bowling friendly pitches in PSL3, no team could get a total of 200 in an inning, despite Karachi Kings who has scored 188 for 3 against Multan Sultans. Shane Watson leading the highest individual scorer crew with 299 runs. While Kumar Sangakkara with 268 and Babar Azam 244 stand 2nd and 3rd respectively in that list.
Imran Tahir with 12 wickets dominates the bowling troops
As far as the bowling performances in the third edition of Pakistan are concerned, Imran Tahir from Multan sultans is on top of the highest wickets takers. He took 12 wickets including one stunning hat-trick against Quetta Gladiators. Picking up 11 wickets Wahab Riaz from Peshawar Zalmi is just below him.
PSL3 Points table entered into an interesting stage
There is a lot of thrill in the Pakistan Super League points table, at the moment. Lahore Qalandars could win 2 games after losing 6 and had to eliminate from the next round. Winning the next two games even can’t help them. Quetta Gladiators and Islamabad United with 10 points each stand on the 1st and 2nd position accordingly. Both teams in need of only one win to qualify for the playoffs. The real battle to qualify for the all-important round is between Karachi Kings, Multan Sultans, and Peshawar Zalmi. Win against Islamabad on Tuesday will allow them the ticket to play the next round, while in case of defeat Peshawar Zalmi will have to wait for the one win in their next two fixtures.

The event is moved to Sharjah again for the remaining 6 fixtures of the Pakistan Super League 2018. After these 6 games, one playoff will be hosted by Dubai followed by 2 playoffs in Lahore and the Grand Finale in Karachi.
