The highest bid of $41.6 million by Multan Sultans owner makes Multan Sultans the most expensive franchise in PSL

Schon Properties wins the rights of being the Multan Sultans owner. Schon Group is a property based company. It is rated in one of the richest families in  Pakistan. Out of 10 bidders, Multan Sultans owner made the highest bid of $41.6 million. Schon Group will pay $5.2 million per year. This makes Multan Sultans the most expensive franchise out of the other 5 franchises of Pakistan Super League.

Schon Properties was founded in 2007 by the two brothers – Tahir H. and Nasir H. They opted Dubai for their business because of the high demand for properties projects over there. Schon Groups has worked on four mega projects so far which earned them a great piece of fame. These projects involve Dubai Lagoon, I Suites, Schon Business Park, Eco-Friendly Development.

Schon Properties were declared the winners of two CNBC Arabian Property Awards 2009. Best Mixed Use Development was won by Dubai Lagoon. While Schon Business Park won the Best Office Development Award.

The third season of Pakistan Super League will start from 22nd February. Multan Sultans squad looks very balanced with Shoaib Malik to lead the Multan Sultans team. Wasim Akram is the Team Director & bowling coach. Tom Moody is the Head Coach. The first match of Pakistan Super League 2018 will be played between Multan Sultans Vs Peshawar Zalmi.
