Should foreign players play PSL final in Karachi | FICA To Advice Players

The Chairman PCB Najam Sethi has announced that play offs of PSL third season will be hosted in UAE too. He also announced the good news that PSL Semi finals will be hosted in Lahore and PSL final will be hosted in Karachi. As Najam Sethi has assured that this will gonna happen as he committed. But we witnessed last season that some of the player not convinced to land in Pakistan to play Final in Lahore. Security risk were the major concern for many Players, eventually most of the players agreed to come and play PSL final in Lahore except some.

So Federation of International Cricketers Associations is making a security report on PSL final.  This Report will help players to make decision that whether they want to play in PSL final in Karachi Pakistan or not. A two member based delegate headed by expert Reg Dickason will analyse security measurements on Sunday in Karachi Stadium.

FICA Chief Executive, Tony Irish told:

“So far we are not drawing any conclusion for PSL final in Karachi. FICA is currently preparing the report to assist the players.”

Talking more about PSL final in Karachi he added:

” to play or not to play in the t20 league is a players decision . We don’t have any control over that. However we just provide the information to the players to make their decision easy . We are in the middle of preparing the report for PSL final in Karachi.”

From 2009 and till now International cricket has been away from Pakistan. Since some group of terrorists attacked Sri Lankan team, the door for international cricket were close for Pakistan. Last year attempts were made to bring back international cricket in Pakistan, by hosting World XI and Sri Lankan team for t20 matches in Lahore. And now with the call of hosting PSL Semi Finals in Lahore and PSL Final in Karachi we hope this will be game changer for Pakistan.
